Small update : At the yard today so done some cleaning (swept and mopped floor, wiped panels etc.). Had some WD40 so things like the cab window, cab door latch, front and rear doors and windows now open much more easily (No more cab door not shutting lol). It currently has a Norwood blindset. One of the openable side maintenance panels doesn't open as it seems to have slipped from position and is getting stuck on another panel, however this is getting looked into. It also needs some parts replaced to stop the air leak, and then hopefully should be ready for MOT

Should be shunted to the front tomorrow so there will be proper access to the engine covers, kit has been ordered so just need a date when it can be done as its a few hours job. Also removed cab seat, so cab can be cleaned and seat is being replaced with another one

Some issues have been sorted however air issue is proving problematic and requiring specialist attention. Bus was shunted a while back and minor things have been done. Progressing

A few people from Volvo have been around over the last few days and parts are being ordered, so hopefully this should sort out the major issue and get it on the road

Progress has been fairly slow, mainly due to the fact there are more urgent buses that need to be worked on and availability of the engineers who also have commercial work to deal with as a priority rather than preserved buses. Compressor issue proving very problematic at the moment. Volvo specialists were around, problem diagnosed, parts ordered and the new kit recently fitted, with the bus turning on and starting to build up air, however the same problem has reoccurred due to another blockage, so will be booked into a workshop once I'm back from holiday this week as it needs to be lifted in the air or over the pits. No other issues so hopefully once this is sorted MOT prep can start.
