So France is building an outer suburbs Grand Paris Express superloop and we're getting a few buses that don't even make a loop. As it stands though, London has a better rail network than Paris (imo) - the new ‘Grand Paris Express’ is sorely needed to fill in gaps in the rail network that currently exist. The lack of public transport is a big reason why some of the Paris ‘banlieues’ are so much more run down than anything London has. But that’s off topic!

Harrow to North Finchley, so looks like it is going via the 183 route, then a 125 to North Finchley, not sure. Need more detail.

Good Old Route 726 is coming back once again :-) Only in stages - it won’t be one full route

What a great idea, grew up in north London and would have loved this in my teens.
Hopefully it can be done with bus priority systems in place too

Good idea. But are a few that will go from some of those places to the centre of London or the border of it.

I wonder how TfL will create more stand space at Harrow bus station to fit the X183?

This reminds me of a big grand opening of a shop and then the shop signage falls on the floor and breaks in half 😂 , I do Like the Superloop livery on the bus though very Tramlink feeder 1999 ish love it infact .
But for East London I feel like more useful links could be provided to connect with the Superloop and also I'm assuming Royal Docks is Custom House somewhere as it has Liz line connections on the map ? Why not make the South East Superloop go to Abbey Wood to connect with the Liz Line and in East London why not have a X5 or X15 from Aldgate out to Romford stopping at the major stops also connecting with the Superloop at Barking or even the Royal Docks somewhere also some sort of express route from Beam Park and Barking Riverside to connect with the Superloop maybe extend one of the ELT routes or EL4 if it ever comes to fruition Rainham - Beam Park-Barking Riverside-Royal Docks ? I also think X68 should run Monday to Friday all day and if patronage picks up weekends all the major arteries A roads in to London should have a express route from the outer suburbs into town a X149 from Enfield say connecting into town so in the Superloop Circle around London you would also have a Supercross of routes connecting to the Circle Line so it really would be a Cross London/Circular Express network of Routes if it was down to me also the routes would run outside of London to get ULEZ custom so out to Dartford , Brentwood , Potters Bar , Waltham Cross etc but that's wishful thinking .

Well spotted about Custom house I missed that and assumed the route would terminate elsewhere in the royal Docks. There is no space on the Custom House stand which is already tight with the 304 regularly having two buses on the stand. I guess the 304 could be potentially extended towards Keir Hardie and Canning Town but this would over bus that section.
I assume the Royal Docks route wold head to Ilford using with the A13 or A1020 then the A406 but wonder about the peak congestion on these roads. The A1020 is probably better of the two but still gets very congested the minute there is a issue heading east on the A13.

The problem with introducing a X5/X15/X149 is the amount of cost it would take to make such express routes viable through Inner London, especially on the A routes. This loop is easier to implement as I suspect it will be done on the cheap and several sections like the X26 & X140 already exist.
