Sullivan Buses have bought five ex-Lonodn United East Lancs. bodied Volvo B7TLs for TfL route 626 which starts in September: ELV 5 = PA04 CYH ex-VLE 25 ELV 7 = PO54 ADU ex-VLE 40 ELV 8 = PO54 OOE ex-VLE 43 ELV 9 = PO54 OOF ex-VLE 44 ELV 10 = PO54 OOG ex-VLE 45 Aahhh!, that solves the mystery then, Sullivan have mistyped the reg's. Like mredd, I was getting nothing when searching for those plates earlier. Cheers. Wonder where 40 and 41 went ? I'm surprised 25 went back as it was VLE40-45 (and SLEs) that were on route 27

It would be nice if Sullivan Buses put some DDs on the 298 occasionally. I remember DLAs, DLPs and VLWs regularly appearing on the route with Arriva.

I think a couple of deckers have gone out on the 298 since Sullivan Buses started running the route - not 100% sure though I have asked Dean about this and he says the only reason they don't put them out is because Tfl Don't permit them on the route, Arriva did and look what happened, they lost the route 2 or 3 DD's have been out, which has been down to no AE's being fit

On the Sullivan fleet list, they now have photo's of the acquired B7TL's, It show's ELV8 & ELV10 having white on black blinds, blinded for the 626. However they have 4 'via' points rather than the 2 that I thought was TfL spec. Or are school services excluded from that rule?

Think school services are excluded, some operators just have the numbers, some have via points, some like LC only use 1 via point on short routes.

Also, ELV10 has yellow 330 blinds? So yellow and white blinds on one blindset?

Also, ELV10 has yellow 330 blinds? So yellow and white blinds on one blindset? Can be done quite easily. First use/have multi-coloured blinds for commercial operations like rail replacements etc. they do cost a fair bit more to make though.

Noticed that the "North Finchley" blinds for the 626, and the route blind has a lot more information than I've seen from TfL in ages! - www.flickr.com/photos/wltmauc/9675429320/Is this what TfL allows? If so, why do other TfL operators use a simple two via points one? (btw - I quite like the "Tally Ho!" exclamation mark!)

DP 92 & DP 96 were on a special non stop Tower Hill to Sutton Police Station service on the 7th September.
