Just to throw into the debate about the "these foreigners" twitter comments - one guy who sided with them on FB has sent me a friend request a while back. Err if you're generally against foreigners I'm not quite sure why you'd want to associate with me, as I'm Polish born-and-bred, and my surname looks like a set of random characters to Britons so there is little doubt about my origins. My point is I'm afraid you can't pick and choose - if you're not keen on people from abroad, you're against me too. I was tempted to say that under the comments there but don't want to get blocked lol. Then again, long known e.g. DM readers get excited about attractive Russian girls 🙄 And I say that even though in Poland we have some outrageous driving

You said it yourself about outrageous driving standards, I wouldn't take it personally though. For somebody to suggest that they don't like anybody from abroad is daft but that's just my opinion which is no more or less relevant than anybody elses opinion. Anyway perhaps we can get back to the topic in hand? I would respectfully suggest that if anybody wishes to discuss the twitter comments further it might be an idea to start a new thread on the somewhat under utilised off route section.

I remember someone on Facebook telling me to go home - well it's a bit hard to move into Kings College Hospital isn't it lol. Funnily enough, I brought up about how stupid these comments are on a bus group and I got labelled a bigot for doing so - dum idiots!

Those comments are exactly what prompted me to rant here and I think you've been been treated unfairly vjaska - and that exact guy who said that to you was the one I was referring to in my post

Stagecoach's 12306 or 12313 appears to be the latest incident, reportedly striking the section of the Bow flyover with a 12 ft height restriction.

The Sydenham low bridge is a famous one, I'm sure a Stageciach trident went under it twice, once when at TL and once when at TB, deroofed on both occasions.

Funnily enough, the two in Loughborough Junction and the one on Coldharbour Lane in Brixton don't get struck at all especially the latter which is on a shortcut - high vehicles that aren't buses have to go via Brixton Road, Stockwell Road, Stockwell Park Walk, Brixton Road & Gresham Road to avoid it.

There was a DLA which a few years[1] ago had made a right turn from Brixton Hill into Coldharbour Lane before the driver realised the low bridge ahead. Presumably he turned left onto Electric Avenue to get back to Brixton Road. [1] - not long before the DLAs were withdrawn south of the river

Oh dear, how many victims has this bridge claimed over the years? If a learner was at the wheel the instructor is going to have some explaining to do!
