We are not far off from the 346 moving to Stagecoach in September. I wonder if the results of the consultation will be announced soon? Would make sense to change the 497 at the same time of the tender renewal. It did say that the changes would happen from the 2023/24 financial year, so it could happen on 30th September when the 346 is suppose to go to Stagecoach.

It's been said on other threads that the Metro-atrocities will be ready for September, which should be in time for the 346/347/497 changes.

Nothing has been said, but as others have said, would make sense for the changes to take place when the contract starts.

The D3 recently had a frequency reduction which I assume released some buses? The ex route 366 buses could be needed on the 276 if the electrics are late which was suggested here a little while back.

I wonder if the 346 might be run from NS now instead of RM, would give a common fleet with the 193.

I live along Squirrels Heath Road in Harold Wood and there has been lots of action with vans at bus stops the past few days. The other night the posters on the noticeboard was changed (which I didn't think anything of), but this morning at 6.30 there was lots of banging. There was a man taking the numbers down from the bus stop and replacing the blank ones - still leaving the 347 up. I couldn't help but think why? He then proceeded to the same at the opposite stop. I was expecting to see the 497 up there (although I know it hasn't been announced yet)! Thoughts?

Even North Ockendon is within Greater London (it is London's most easterly settlement and closer to Leigh-on-Sea than to Piccadilly Circus).
