Hi everyone,
I'm a filmmaker, and in January/February of 2024, I will be making a short film that needs a bus from the 1970s to film in whilst it's being driven around. I was wondering if anyone has a bus that is fitting for this time that wouldn't mind me using for filming for one day. I will be able to pay for this opportunity (within reason).
I am based around the Lancashire region, so if you're close to this area, that would be helpful too. Thanks everyone.

Can't help personally, but roughly where in Lancashire and (possibly more relevant) where is the film set? From some perspectives, a 1970s bus is a 1970s bus (depending on exactly where and when, there were still a few 1950s buses and more 1960s buses still in service in the 70s) but some people will argue that if (for example) the film is set in Preston, it would be better to have a Preston bus than a Manchester bus if it's going to be seen.
Many transport museums / preservation groups will be used to this sort of thing - there are a few in Lancashire, can offer some links if you don't get any other responses.
