Oh dear! I'm sure it won't hurt them for little long walk to bus stops nearby.

One of the most pointless consultations I think I've seen, at least there is a frequency increase at evenings involved so some good news

Considering I use the 309 from time to time, this isn't a good idea - leaving quite a few roads without any bus service. Many residents use the bus through estates and I think it's quite helpful in that sense of routing. What will it benefit going through Abott Road the whole way? To be fair, it's a minor change but not a good one really.

To be fair, it's a minor change but not a good one really. I see the tight roads mentioned elsewhere and wonder if the reroute is because of the upcoming change to E200s? I know the occasional longer bus run on the 309 but this will be a bit different. I really hope the reroute is not for this reason. As this is pretty poor even by TfL standards.

The ex-W11 E200MMCs will be the same length as the current Solos

The section of route around the Aberfeldy Estate can be tricky due to parked cars, and buses have been subject to vandalism there in the past.

Buses have been subject to vandalism in a number of places across London (Pollards Hill & the 255 is the first one that springs to mind) yet these areas are all still served. Parked cars is a more reasonable concern but that could also be solved through other means than simply removing the bus

There was a time where buses did not serve the Estate at night and would curtail at Brent Park Tesco, this happened for a while until the matter was eventually resolved and buses serving at night was restored.

Weren’t buses diverted in Romford at one point for a similar reason relating to crime?

Weren’t buses diverted in Romford at one point for a similar reason relating to crime? I think it happened in a few places tbh. I think a route was diverted in the Orpington area aswell and possibly around Grove Park.

Weren’t buses diverted in Romford at one point for a similar reason relating to crime? Yep, buses would serve the station, U turn under the station bridge and then go through Thurloe Gardens ro Mercury Gardens.

The N1 if I’m right was routed away from Canada Water due to anti-social behaviour and is yet to return, despite the 47, N199 and N381 all serving it.
Isn’t the problem also going on around Chiswick, hence the 70 being curtailed to Acton Town?
