That is how many people get sucked into Uber and they tend not to bother going back to the bus after that. Never used Uber but not sure how they can compete in terms of cost? I assume they work out more expensive especially compared to a single bus fare? I know there is the convenience factor but still. Generally more expensive but if there are 2-3 people then probably works well. It’s usually convenient, gets you to your doorstep and so on. Especially in evenings when you have a choice of either waiting for a bus or jumping into an Uber

D7 to Isle of Dogs, Cubitt Town 1st time seeing this new blind since Stagecoach's takeover
The Blue Bridge was closed this evening and the D7 was diverted down Marsh Wall and Westferry Circus in order to head to Poplar, meaning the route made a circle around the island. The Marsh Wall was also inevitably gridlocked and there were also two D7s bunching right in front of the curtailed one I saw.

SEe on the 265 to New Malden Fountain Roundabout (does this just turn around at the roundabout since 10.8m SEes failed a route test on the 152's stand?).

SEe on the 265 to New Malden Fountain Roundabout (does this just turn around at the roundabout since 10.8m SEes failed a route test on the 152's stand?). Given the infrastructure issue with the stand I'm assuming it turned around at the roundabout. Also some route curtailments are 'officially' meant to be for quick turn arounds (minimal standing for blind change, saloon check, etc). Perhaps New Malden for the 265 is such a curtailment.

Yes they do. On the 213 the drivers from Sutton will stand briefly at the stop, quick interior check, spin round the roundabout and then back to Sutton. In the opposite direction they do the same at St James Church. Unfortunately the Fountain stop towards Sutton is so poorly designed there is no room for more than 1 bus to stop at a time.

Unfortunately the Fountain stop towards Sutton is so poorly designed there is no room for more than 1 bus to stop at a time. Sometimes drivers do stand at that stop for a few minutes, and it blocks the road and usually ends up with traffic queuing back to the A3 roundabout. In my opinion this turn should just be banned on the 213 with all buses going as far as Darley Drive. Also, could the 265's curtailment at New Malden be changed to New Malden/Kingston Bypass (turning around at the A3 roundabout) like the 213 does towards Sutton?

To be fair in the last couple of months turns to Darley Drive have increased and turns at the roundabout have decreased. Likely due to the issues you have mentioned with a lack of a proper stand for the turn now. There also seems to be an increase in Sycamore Grove set downs and dead runs to Kingston for a return journey. Like I’ve said previously there may be an opportunity to improve the roundabout stand once works begin on removing the fountain and to improve the roundabout itself.

Some buses stand between the exit off the roundabout onto Kingston Road and the entrance onto the roundabout for those coming off Kingston Road.

Canning Town and the area around the A13 have been a mess since around 4.30pm. I assume there are problems on the A13 or Blackwall Tunnel.
All below are turns now (8.15pm)
X2 69 to Plaistow from Walthamstow 115 to Canning Town Station from East Ham X4 5 to Plaistow Abbey Arms from Romford
276 to Canning Town Hermit Road from Stoke Newington
X2 147 to Prince Regent from Ilford
On a separate note the 241 and 325 are diverted via the A13, Barking Road die to New Barn street being closed this weekend. The 300 runs direct from Freemasons Road via the A13 to Canning Town Station missing out Barking Road.

I wonder if it stood on the 24 stand or the 1s stand.
