EN18 has her 17th birthday, whilst on the 318 My worst London Bus experience in 2023 was waiting 50 minutes on a bitterly cold day in January outside the 'old' Stamford Hill garage for the 'right' (i.e. sufficiently old) EN to operate the 318. Finally EN18's sister EN21 pulled on to stand and I was able to 'enjoy' the back streets of Tottenham & Bruce Grove. By the time we reached North Mid I still hadn't fully thawed out. I only made the 'mercy-mission' as I'd read on the forum that the 57 Plate ENs would be "Gone in a couple of weeks". Here we are a year later and 57 plate EN13/18/20 are still working the 318! Never mind. HNY ServerKing and to all.

EN18 has her 17th birthday, whilst on the 318 Is it not EN18’s 16th birthday? 57-reg is late 2007-early 2008

EN18 has her 17th birthday, whilst on the 318 Is it not EN18’s 16th birthday? 57-reg is late 2007-early 2008 To split hairs further: the original LJ57 batch were registered in January 2008 (so now 16 years old) and the Kentish Bus GN57 batch were registered in February 2008 (so not quite 16 yet).

EN18 has her 17th birthday, whilst on the 318 Your jokes about the 318 absolutely make me laugh. Even though it has some of the oldest buses it does certainly need some newer vehicles. Overall the Ex 233 Enviro 200s have been in service for so long and it’s current batch with MB still in service. 17 years? I’m very sure those vehicles entered service in February 2008 which would make them 16 years old. In addition the longest surviving E200s at Arriva started at DT. The 246 is similar where it’s original E200s are still in service on another route and it has not had new vehicles since 2008.

I’m on Dw518 on 121 to Turnpike Lane had to divert via Caterhatch Lane the A10 and Barid Road due to a police incident on the mini roundabout at Hertford Road, blocking southbound lane.
Edit: we turned left towards the bus garage, drove into the garage to come out the other side to set at the bus stop for a driver change

Today's obs. 122 x2 to Woolwich from Crystal Palace Unidentified WHV on the 185. The entire 122 service is terminating at Woolwich because of the bridge closure at Plumstead.

E154 on the 44!!! No blinds at all and the paper in the front window has the text printed small and out of the way so people are getting confused

I saw an out of service 122 go through Rochester way / sun in the sands roundabout (essentially the 132/286/335 LOR) at around 10 or 11pm last night. Is this the usual shortcut to head back to Woolwich / garage?

The 122 usually runs light to PD via its own route once it gets to Yorkshire Grey coming from Westhorne Avenue.

Last night I was graced with Electroliner 82008 on the N199! Liked the high spec layout, the different iBus layouts aren't the best but the silence of the electric bus is what stands out most. I checked LVF after boarding and realised four buses (including 82001, 82002 and 82009) out of seven were electric on the N199. The conversion has started!
