BC DW50 has been repainted into new drab Arriva livery. Argh I hate the new livery. The yellow band accross the skirt area could do. But at least Metroline and LG/LC get away with their livery's

Argh I hate the new livery. The yellow band accross the skirt area could do. But at least Metroline and LG/LC get away with their livery's There is a reason as it has been mentioned in this months LOTs TLB. The same is happening at First. When panel damage occurs placing a new panel to replace the band is not there and looks rather messy. It's easier to place the logo above the driver cab (note on the nearside the legals are to the rear above the last window. Where is the distinction of Metroline and London General/Central "getting away with it"? They are compliant to the TFL ruling.

Don't think this has been reported yet - TPL238 (LN51 KXR); saw this on the 297 last Thursday. I am not sure about the validity of this, but apparently (according to reports) it is one of two that are due to be loaned to CT Plus for the 388 extension. And I put great emphasis on the word 'apparently' because that could well be wrong so don't quote me on that

NS based 17461 has recieved a nice new lick of paint. A quick question too, why is it on repaint, the X-reg Tridents are the only vehicles to be recieving a different font for their fleetnumbers? Currently i've counted 3 different styles on the vehicles between 17223 and 17358
