NS based 17461 has recieved a nice new lick of paint. A quick question too, why is it on repaint, the X-reg Tridents are the only vehicles to be recieving a different font for their fleetnumbers? Currently i've counted 3 different styles on the vehicles between 17223 and 17358 Probably mistakes, or that the incorrect transfer font was the only one available at the time. I've seen Johnston fonts on some of ELBG's X-reg Tridents instead of the normal Gill Sans (?) examples.

This occured shortly after the sale by Stagecoach to ELBG. 17236 has also similar non-standard numbers, as have a couple of others at NS.

DLA374 LJ03MSY on the 254 has the new arriva livery, though it still has a bit of the cow horn between the offside upper deck front windows.

Even 17994 had it until recently

DLA297 Y497UGC at Euston yesterday on the 253 at Euston, sporting the new arriva livery except the logos are still in the same place as before, nearside - between front wheel and exit doors and offside under the ad frame, also it still has the big old ARRIVA serving london with the logo next to it. The new design is, nearside - logo above front door and offside inbetween upper and lower deck just behind drivers cab window and just says ARRIVA with the logo.

The bus still looks fresh OK I admit I'm late so yes I'll let you have that one lol

Is it just me or does that Arriva logo on the front look a bit 'fake'?

Yeah, insert coin, it does It looks like the paintshop took a shortcut and used the Frutiger font on it, and combined it with the Arriva logo... Just compare the 'R's in ARRIVA on the side of the bus and there's your clue ;D

It's not the first time I've seen this logo being used, I have also seen the exact same logo on one of CN's PDL's (the ones for route 450) as well.
