I once had on the 490: K1 to Heathrow Terminal 5. Not Joking. And then there were those times when the ibus just announced the route in reverse on the 33.

I once had on the 490: K1 to Heathrow Terminal 5. Not Joking. And then there were those times when the ibus just announced the route in reverse on the 33. There's an LT last week on the 159 announcing its destination as "Sloane Street/heathrow cargo..." despite the visual display being correct. Then in between the old Brixton Hill College and Brixton Prison it would announce Wimbledon Station.

T151 announces like this:
133 to 243 Streatham Station and also announces random bus stops at times.

An issue with the Wright Streetlite, especially the ex-192 ones allocated to the 463, if the driver opens the single door and quickly closes it, the iBus won't say "463 to ________" and if it was a person getting off the bus, not only will the iBus be stuck on "Bus Stopping," but the factory fitted stopping screen will be aswell.
I also believe that 334 had similar issues with its iBus and was constantly making silly announcements

Meanwhile on the 38: in lieu of "Bloomsbury Way for Holborn",... "Piccadilly / Oxford Circus for Holborn"

The other week some hail and ride announcement kept coming on for Victoria and Albert museum on 14, 414 Westbound stop. "Victoria and Albert museum, hail and ride, Leyton Drive' or something along those lines! Might even still be doing it!

I have heard it as well, I thought it was some sought of cycle interchange thing (not clear due to lack of bass in the Gemini 2's speakers)

On a 9 last night
"To" was replaced with Cambridge Road so at every stop Emma said "9, Cambridge Road Hammersmith"
Then announced Royal Albert Hall as Kenton Lane. Hehe

A new variant of I-Bus "ghosts in the machine" on VLA16 on the 123 to Ilford. TfL have added messages advising of the "new night service from 19 August 2016" but the words came out as "Kings Cross Station / Pentonville Road" The scrolling display was fine. The message pops up every 10-12 stops or something like that. On the return I was on a DW and the message worked perfectly well so don't know if it's a directional problem or specific to a sole vehicle. Yet again though TfL are not being precise enough. If you rely on the visual message you'd think there was a night bus running every night - all they have to do is add the word "Weekend" before "night" and it would make sense. The audio message is OK and one on a Countdown display at a stop in Ilford also made clear it was Fri/Sat nights when the service runs. Oddly, though, there was no message for the 145 which gets a weekend night service at the same time. Anyone seen similar messages on the routes that are gaining weekend night services on 19 Aug? No sign yet of revised stop plates or updated spider maps.
