TfL will be meeting with Hounslow’s Lead Transport Officer & Cabinet Member for Climate, Environment and Transport this Summer to brief them on proposals to restructure the bus network between Feltham, Hounslow and Brentford/Osterley. At this meeting, TfL will brief Hounslow Council on proposals to introduce a new school bus route, the 618, between Ivybridge Estate and Syon Lane and to extend the E1 bus route from Ealing Broadway to Osterley’s Tesco in early 2024. These changes will be subject to a public consultation, which will launch in early September. Update 07/09 - Consultation launched

Also looks like the E1 extension is advancing more now. I wondering though as normally a school routes gets introduced to replace part of the normal bus network (last proposed one 620 was to maintain links lost by the 143 re route and before that the 677 replacing the 167 etc). It looks suspiciously to be replacing parts of the H20 and H28 at either terminal.

So it’s finally going to happen but we have to wait until the consultation has finished to see it happen. I thought it would never happen.

Tender wise the 618 should be quite an interesting battle between all three major West London players!

Yes, two new secondary schools have opened on Syon Lane.

if go ahead, don't worry, TfL will put 'School Bus stop here' e-plate title on every bus stops for new route 618. hehe so School pupils don't know where to find right bus stop for new 618.

It will be great to have such a frequent service to Osterley Tesco from the east, with same stop interchange with route H91.

Are these the only changes they are planning to make or will there be others too I would think more as it mentions Feltham and Hounslow aswell. The E1 and new 618 don't serve either of those areas.
