Why, oh why, oh why do people walk behind a bus reversing and no I'm not talking about members of the public, You couldn't be talking about the members of the public, as they are not allowed to go near the places where buses reverse. If they are there, they want to be flattened ;D

Usually as they see people in uniform and come over to ask questions!!!!! You couldn't be talking about the members of the public, as they are not allowed to go near the places where buses reverse. If they are there, they want to be flattened ;D You would be surprised the amount of people that wander around Lewisham Bus Station.

He got called a C-word by the forecourt inspector!! ;D ;D He had a point, I was trying to move the bus with it both out of gear and the broms brake on Oh and if NCT meant what you done to my car, well he lifted the windscreen wipers up, meaning I had to walk around it in the rain to put them back down still I suppose it's payback from the amount of time I have moved his mirrors

Ether that or its just the way they were parked. DT is a bit packed and sometimes the shunters dont think when they park them up. I had a sunday morning on the 160 where i had to move 9 buses to get mine out, some drivers would have taken a bus that was easier to get. (but in my case it was the only bus fit for the 160's so i had to mess about moving buses)

another one I know you said about the 423 operating from NF a colleague said they were operating buses from he 162. Its not DT that operate the 423? DT do the first rounder on the 423 in the morning (something about NF drivers not getting up that early) and yes we did run a 162 dart, better than nothing i suppose!! After my proud comments defending DT on here I'm sorry to report the engineering department is making me look bad by completely forgetting what a bus is and how to fix it so the run out is getting more and more of a mix and match everyday

I had that not long after I had started and to make it even better I hadn't been type trained on the MD's and didn't have a clue how to start them, had to go and get an engineer and get him to move the bus ;D The run out inspector wasn't best pleased with having to start me at Blackheath rather than Lewisham I got called a F****** liar on Sunday because I turned at Bexley Village on the 229, passenger reckons I hadn't been showing Bexley Village when she got on at Bexleyheath, that was until I got backed up by another passenger
