DPS703 has now got white blinds All of the 55 regs at V have white on black blinds now. FW have started to fit new blinds to the DEs, with DE109, 112 (set to 371) and 123 plus another unidentified one spotted today. Before long LU may get 'roundel fever' and put roundels on anything with wheels (like Arriva/First (did)/Stagecoach do- I went on an Omnirubbish on the 51 with WORSE seats than AVs 09-reg, and it had a roundel) Although I saw two Stagey Ford Focuses which didn't have them

Are the PD ones repainted too? I thaught it was just T and a few BW ones. (a T 59-plate Omnicity already has new Stagecoach seats, I saw it in Clapton)

As FW use the same blind as TV I wonder if they are now with the NC routes but without K1 K3 K5. Also does this mean the DEs can at last be used as a common fleet at FW so that those on 33 and 371 etc could going forward be mixed.

This could also be an indication that the 216 is going to be E200 operated (the Pointers were reblinded with dayglos). Three more seen today: DE117, 121 and 124

Buses that have power blinds could be some of the last to have white blinds fitted because of the amount of time it would take to change the blinds, I have been told this is very awkward and reprogramming the software in the cab. I've seen a few route 386 buses with them at Blackheath, the ALX400s for the 269 at TB have them and I've seen one or two of these ALXs on the 208 and 61 as well as the 269. Not all of the ALX400s at TB are finished, though I'm sure this is progressing quite quickly. Paul or Londonbusboy are best placed to fill us in! You'd think I would be given I work there but in reality I spend very little time there. I might see blinds being changed on my way out to the car when I'm finished but other than that any work going on pretty much passes me by! Londonbusboy is far better placed than me since he spends his entire shift at the garage and most of it sat on his arse doing nothing; at least that's what it seems like every time I bring in a finished bus! Only joking mate!
